Creed is back…Yay? No? Zzzz? Hm?

Five years after their highly acrimonious split, Creed are reforming for a new album and an American tour, which kicks off August 6th in Pittsburgh and runs through October 14th. “I wouldn’t call it a reunion,” says singer Scott Stapp. “It’s a renewing and a rebirth. I missed my boys and wanted to create music with them again. We’re all thrilled to have a second chance to make a first impression.”

No, I’m thinking that it’s because he can’t make it solo anymore, so he’s reuniting with the band to create enough buzz to make a little extra money to live on. What do you think? Do you think they’ll record an album full of boring radio friendly tunes like Weathered that’ll bring in the money, or will they record an honest album like My Own Prison that would bring in money but also some needed respect?

well maybe it is to bring some extra money…i kinda get that fibe…….but at the same time i think it is gonna be some of the best material of the creed career. i got pretty pissed when creed broke up i just started playing music and all then alter bridge came onto the scene and mark tremonti showed us what he had in him…..its gonna be awsome now..a new creed album this year..another alter bridge album next year…this has just made my day…i think most fans of creed are gonna expect better than before since they know what the guys of A.B. have in them!!!i cant wait atlanta and birmingham here i come!!!!
